Wander in.
Ten beds in three small rooms. A wood-burner, a drying room, a proper kitchen and a garden that catches the evening sun. We’re on Main Street in Newtonmore — the Speyside Way starts here, three Munros are walkable from the village, and Bob and Storm (our dogs, also new to all this) inspect every set of boots that comes through the door. Direct from Edinburgh Airport. Direct from Inverness. The Ember electric coach stops at our door.

Amenities
If the Highland weather lives up to its reputation, this is where boots, jackets and waterproofs come back to life by morning. Plus a hand-wash basin and spin dryer for anything that needs it. We’re lucky enough to have a proper drying room — well used over twelve years of walkers.
